Refrigerated cool rooms come in various types, including walk-in cool rooms, freezer rooms, blast chillers, and dual-temperature cool rooms. Each type serves different purposes based on temperature requirements and storage needs.
Walk-in cool rooms (or cold rooms) are designed to maintain a temperature range just above freezing (usually 0°C to 5°C) and are used to store perishable goods such as meat, fruits and vegetables, dairy, and beverages, keeping them fresh for extended periods.
Freezer rooms are designed to operate at much lower temperatures, typically ranging from -18°C to -25°C, to preserve frozen foods such as meat, seafood, and ice cream for long-term storage, preventing spoilage and bacterial growth.
